Tullow TEN FPSO
About Tullow TEN FPSO
The Deepwater Tano Block, located in Ghana, is made up of three discoveries, Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme, otherwise known as TEN. The project includes 24 development wells with an estimated 240mmbo oil reserves and 60mmboe gas reserves being developed.
PJV supplied Emergency Shut Down (ESD) valves in accordance to our customer’s process needs. The scope included Actuated Trunnion Mounted Ball valves, designed for high pressures and manufactured in full compliance with API 598. These Duplex Stainless Steel ball valves were supplied as complete units with scotch yoke, spring return pneumatic actuators and controls. Valves were all according to NORSOK M650 edition IV and included KalRez O-Rings and graphite spares package. We worked with our customer to provide pricing and specification support.
Working closely with the client meant end user approval was granted for our product, an option that met their 10 week delivery schedule whilst precisely meeting the project’s technical and quality requirements. Through developing a solid understanding of the project’s needs, we were able to assist our client in providing all the minor details, for example PEEK seats, due to the nature of this part of the project being high pressure oil. Working alongside our customer enabled PJV to help reduce costs within the supply chain, whilst maintaining the quality that both PJV and our client are committed to providing.
During this process, the close cooperation helped to prioritise production according to the challenging delivery schedule. In addition, working closely with our own facilities, PJV ensured all valves were supplied on time as a result of prompt quotations and fast turnaround of approved documents – all going towards building an excellent customer relationship.
