In May, Charlie Lodge was invited by the Chinese Extreme Sports Committee to represent Great Britain in the Chinese R2 2015 Tour in Yichang, Hubei Provence, China.

A number of teams were invited from all over the world to compete against local teams. The race was over an 18km section of river and the team where the fastest time won.

“The river was difficult and technical, I have never seen a competition held on that sort of river before”, despite this, alongside his training whilst working full time at PJV, he and his team mate finished with a silver medal. Charlie said, “We are incredibly proud of ourselves and are looking forward to travelling to Indonesia to compete in The World Championship in November”.
