Project background
With facilities spread across three bridge-linked platforms, and condensate storage via an FSO, the Culzean field development featured numerous execution challenges related to the harsh meteorological and ocean conditions and the high pressure/high temperature nature of the wells.
Scope of supply
PJ Valves worked with the main EPC on five valve packages including all gate, globe and check valves, dual plate and non-slam across the platforms. In addition to manufacturing these components, we also manufactured ball valves for the FSO and packaged for multiple EPC sub-contractors on the project.
Outcome
PJ Valves' teams in the US, EMEA, APAC and India supported the main EPC and process package suppliers to overcome the complexities of conflicting specifications. The main EPC awarded PJV an A rating on the project based on delivery, responsiveness and technical assistance.
